Why I Chose Fresh Peas Instead of Pre-Shelled Ones
I could have bought pre-shelled peas — it would have been much more convenient! But when I saw these fresh peas still in their pods, I didn’t hesitate. They immediately brought back warm childhood memories — when my grandparents or relatives would give us fresh peas, and I’d sit with my mum, shelling them together. And let’s be honest — fresh peas simply taste better. Their natural sweetness and crisp texture are unbeatable! I told him they were peas and asked if he wanted to help me shell them. He said yes, full of excitement!
